JAKARTA - On Wednesday, May 10, investors with more than 5% ownership traded shares in a series of additional investments. Even more, three of the investors hold controlling shares. First, PT Merdeka Energi Nusantara, the controlling issuer of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), which makes electric vehicle batteries, purchased 23 million shares of MBMA, increasing its ownership to 49.59%. Then, with an overall stake of 76.42%, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk added 4.08 million shares to its investment in hospital issuer PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME). PT Pangan Sejahtera Investama also acquired 2.5 million shares of PT FKS Food Sejahtera Tbk (AISA), increasing its ownership to 57.8%.

On top of that, numerous shares were also purchased by other investors. PT Akulaku Silvrr Indonesia bought 2.90 million shares of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB) and PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) bought back 2.79 million of its own shares. Additionally, 2.75 million shares of the mining company PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) were purchased by PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk, and nearly 2 million shares of the logistics company PT Dosni Roha Indonesia Tbk (ZBRA) were acquired by PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia. Also, PT Bogamulia Nagadi acquired 1.23 million additional shares of the pharmaceutical company PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC).

Apart from that, there were only two foreign investors this time around on the market hint list. The mining issuer PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI) saw CGS-CIMB Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd increase their investment by 1.8 million shares, whereas the on-demand service provider PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) saw the GOTO Peopleverse Fund sell 22.78 million shares.
