JAKARTA - On Friday, July 14, Eko Desriyanto, the director of PT Idea Indonesia Akademi Tbk (IDEA), decided to become the newest major investor in this vocational services company. Eko now owns approximately 11.43% of the company's holdings after purchasing 121.41 million shares. However, IDEA's controlling shareholder, PT IDEA Asia Investama, sold 81.85 million shares instead, reducing its ownership percentage from 55.66% to 47.96%.

PT Global Mediacom Tbk, a media holding company, was also busy buying and selling shares. The company purchased an additional 491.43 million shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), increasing its ownership to 45.02%. Global Mediacom, on the other hand, dumped 7.23 million shares of digital media company PT MNC Digital Entertainment Tbk (MSIN), which is also a subsidiary of MNCN.

The Bank of Singapore Limited was then registered as the latest big foreign investor in PT NFC Indonesia Tbk (NFCX), an information technology service provider. A total of 36.86 million shares were purchased, for a 5.53% ownership stake. In addition, regular share purchases were made by PT Merdeka Energi Nusantara, which purchased 6.25 million shares of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), and PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), which bought back 6.30 million shares.

PT Hoekel Bangun Abadi, on the other hand, dumped 19.23 million shares of PT Sunindo Adipersada Tbk (TOYS), a children's toy manufacturer. This time, the divestment list included two foreign investors: Bintang Bara B.V., which was seen selling 15.5 million shares of the energy company PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA), and the GOTO Peopleverse Fund, which was seen selling 12.61 million shares of the technology company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO).
