Northstar Tambang Persada sells 340 million DOID

JAKARTA— On Wednesday, April 23, Northstar Tambang Persada Ltd., a foreign investor, was featured in the list of share ownership changes exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The foreign investor had sold 340 million shares of PT BUMA Internasional Grup Tbk (DOID). After selling the shares through PT BNI Sekuritas, the foreign investor's shareholding decreased from 42.66% to 38.22%.
Then, through PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia, another foreign investor, INV Management Pte Ltd, sold 1.70 million shares of cybersecurity solution provider PT ITSEC Asia Tbk (CYBR). Now, 44.99% of the shares remain.
Then, UOB Kay Hian Private Limited, which owned 15.85% of the insurance issuer PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia (TUGU), sold 100,000 shares. However, the same investor also purchased 1.62 million more shares of PT Hatten Bali Tbk (WINE), a wine issuer, causing its stake to rise marginally to 7.21%. PT UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas was used to complete both transactions.
PT Samuel Sekuritas Indonesia then sold 35.70 million shares of the film production company PT MD Entertainment Tbk (FILM). Only about 6.83% of its shares are currently held. Additionally, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala Tbk sold 1.62 million shares of its financial services provider subsidiary, PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA). About 51.91% of the shares are owned by this controlling entity.
In the meantime, PT Putra Borneo Agro Lestari acquired 36.66 million shares of PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana (SSMS), the highest share purchase this time. Following the completion of the purchase through PT Korea Investment and Sekuritas Indonesia, its share portion rose to 8%. By acquiring 20.10 million shares of PT Harta Djaya Karya Tbk (MEJA), PT Interra Djaya Karya subsequently increased its ownership stake in this furniture maker to 53.17%.
Through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia, foreign investor Advance Opportunities Fund acquired six million shares, or 15.07% of the total, of the computer trading company PT Techno9 Indonesia Tbk (NINE). Lastly, Jora Nilam Judge acquired an additional 3.5 million shares in PT Menn Teknologi Indonesia Tbk (MENN).
