JAKARTAPT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) recorded a 13% increase in net profit to IDR 2.66 trillion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025.

ICBP’s profit growth was supported by a 1.36% rise in net sales to IDR 20.19 trillion.

Instant noodles remained the main contributor to revenue, generating IDR 14.52 trillion, up 1.50%.

Meanwhile, sales from the dairy segment contributed IDR 2.67 trillion, snacks IDR 1.16 trillion, seasonings IDR 1.09 trillion, nutrition and special foods IDR 360.87 billion, and beverages IDR 372.08 billion.

Anthoni Salim, President Director and CEO of ICBP, stated that the company started 2025 with encouraging performance despite external challenges.

“ICBP began 2025 with positive results and will continue to monitor developments regarding global trade tensions and geopolitical uncertainty,” said Anthoni.

He added that the company’s focus going forward would be on growth through innovation, expansion of distribution both domestically and internationally, and improving operational excellence to maintain competitiveness in a dynamic market.

On the other hand, operational efficiency helped raise operating profit by 5% year-on-year to IDR 5.15 trillion, with an operating margin of 25.5%.

In terms of the balance sheet, ICBP’s total assets rose 3.72% year-to-date (ytd) to IDR 130.73 trillion, with a 26.18% increase in cash to IDR 25.75 trillion. Liabilities rose 3.22% to IDR 60.89 trillion, while total equity increased 4.16% to IDR 69.83 trillion. (DH/KR/ZH)
