JAKARTA. Alexander Stefanus Ridwan Suhendra secures the title the Best CEO in Superblock Development, awarded by Tempo-IDNFinancials. Said title is given after evaluating his performance and contribution in leading PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) to establish various superblocks in different cities in Indonesia.

His award was given during the TOP CEO Awards 2023 at Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach Resort, Bali last Friday (1/12). Attending this event were several renowned CEOs from different industries, including Candra Ciputra, CEO of PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA); Tandean Rustandy, CEO of PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA); and Hasan Aula, Vice President Director of PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA).

In Q3 2023, Stefanus led PWON to be able to record an impressive performance, scoring revenue of IDR 4.56 trillion, shifting from IDR 4.49 trillion seen in Q3 2022. The main contributors are contracts with users of IDR 3.13 trillion, followed by space lease of IDR 1.38 trillion, and apartment services of IDR 52.53 billion. For comparison, in Q3 2022, contracts with users generated IDR 3.31 trillion, followed with space lease of IDR 1.12 trillion and apartment services of IDR 51.72 billion.

Gross profit grew from IDR 2.36 trillion to IDR 2.51 trillion, while current year’s net profit rose from IDR 1.38 trillion to IDR 1.70 trillion. This net profit surge resulted from interest income that doubled from IDR 120.53 billion to IDR 266.97 billion, allowing profit before taxes to reach IDR 1.71 trillion, soaring from IDR 1.38 trillion.

Under his lead, PWON manages five superblocks and ten retail malls in several major cities, namely Jakarta, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Solo. Those still exclude other areas, such as township, hotel, and office buildings. (LK/ZH)
