JAKARTA – Softbank Ventura Indonesia, a new investor with 7.82% of PT Nanotech Indonesia Global Tbk (NANO) shares, was recognized in the list of changes in share ownership above 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Tuesday, April 8, the first trading day following the Nyepi and Idulfitri holidays.Through PT Mandiri Sekuritas, this new investor purchased 335 million shares of the nanotechnology and research company.

Jora Nilam Judge also boosted her stake in PT Menn Teknologi Indonesia Tbk (MENN), a firm that provides fleet management solutions, by acquiring more than 110.57 million shares through PT BNI Sekuritas, after previously acquiring 16% of MENN shares prior to the long holiday. Her stake in the share grew to 23.71%.

Following that, two holding corporations raised their stakes in their own subsidiary. With a total stake of 51.79%, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala purchased 8.80 million shares of financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA). Next in line was PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk, which acquired 2.18 million shares to raise its stake in mineral mining firm PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR) to 84.18%.

Two of its largest investors traded 27.50 million shares of PT Hillcon Tbk (HILL), a mining and construction firm. PT Hillcon Equity Management sold the shares with the remaining 57.54%, while PT CGS International Sekuritas Indonesia purchased the shares with a 9.36% share portion. Both transactions were done through PT CGS International Sekuritas Indonesia.

This time, PT Panin Sekuritas Tbk also assisted with two share sales. PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk sold 113,400 shares of the insurance firm PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance Tbk (MTWI), while PT Nusantara Makmur Lestari sold 1.81 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), a producer of palm oil. Batavia Prosperindo currently owns 86.07% of MTWI, while the remaining shares that Nusantara Makmur holds represent 9.58% of NSSS.

Thereafter, PT Wahana Investa Niaga sold 70,500 shares of the furniture and design firm PT Harta Djaya Karya Tbk (MEJA). Its ownership fell to 20.95%. Lastly, with a 5.09% stake, PT Infiniti Cipta Teknologi sold 10,000 shares of PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk (PANR), a provider of tourism services. (KD)
