The Government of Singapore owns 68.71 billion GOTO shares

Singapore's government redirected its attention to Indonesian issuers on Friday, December 2. After previously purchasing MTEL shares, this neighbouring country's government has now become the new GOTO investor. Surprisingly, the Singapore Government purchased 68.71 billion GOTO shares, giving it a 5.8% stake in PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). GoTo Peopleverse Fund, or GPF, previously sold 16.31 billion GOTO shares, reducing its ownership to 7.65%.

BUMI shares overwhelm in negative 1.5 billion shares net foreign volume

The total net volume of foreign trade dropped to negative 2 billion shares in the second week of December. On Monday, December 5, the foreign purchase volume was 1.715 billion shares, but the sales volume nearly doubled at 3.244 billion shares, resulting in a foreign net volume of minus 1.529 billion shares. Shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) contributed more than half of this total. Foreign investors sold 1,091,999,700 BUMI shares, reducing the net volume to a negative 837,479,500 shares.

Foreign investors sold 126 million shares of Bank BCA (BBCA)

Friday (December 2), net foreign volume was further down at negative 209.24 million shares. Foreign purchasing and sales transactions were not particularly busy, with a total volume of 1.5–1.7 billion pieces. Bank BCA had the lowest net volume, minus 64.33 million shares, due to foreign shareholders selling approximately 126.02 million shares of PT Bank Central Asia (BBCA).
