JAKARTA - PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) has increased the capital of PT Surya Sapta Agung Tol (SSAT) to accelerate the construction of the Kediri-Tulungagung toll road project, East Java.

Citing information disclosure on Friday (16/5), Istata T. Siddharta, Director of GGRM said that the company took 1.5 million shares or all shares issued by SSAT worth IDR 1.5 trillion.

With the capital injection, SSAT's issued and paid-up capital rose to IDR3.5 trillion from IDR2 trillion. The shareholder structure of SSAT is GGRM 99.999% or Rp3.49 trillion and PT Suryaduta Investama Rp1 million.

The 44.17-kilometre Kediri-Tulungagung Toll Road project has an investment value of Rp9.92 trillion. This toll road will provide access to Dhoho Airport, Kediri, East Java, which is projected to operate in the third quarter of 2025. (LK/LM)
