DMAS pays dividend today, dividend yield reaches 20%?

JAKARTA – PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS) has recorded an increase in dividend yield for the 2024 financial year, in line with a larger cash dividend allocation compared with 2023.
According to a public disclosure on Wednesday (20/5), Tondy Suwanto, Corporate Secretary of DMAS, stated that the company allocated a dividend of IDR 1.39 trillion or IDR 29 per share for the 2024 fiscal year.
The dividend was paid to shareholders on Wednesday (20/5) today. The total payout amounts to 104.80% of the 2024 net profit, which reached IDR 1.33 trillion.
With DMAS’s share price at IDR 144 per share as of 11:00 AM WIB today, the dividend yield stands at 20.13%. This is significantly higher than the 7.40% dividend yield for the 2023 financial year.
In 2023, DMAS allocated a cash dividend of IDR 578.37 billion or IDR 12 per share, equivalent to 47.80% of its net profit. At that time, the company's share price closed at IDR 162, indicating a dividend yield of 7.4%. (LK/KR/ZH)
