JAKARTA – The purchase of shares in PT Ultrajaya Milk Industry & Trading Company Tbk (ULTJ) by Sabana Prawira Widjaja was notable in the list of changes in share ownership exceeding 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday, April 10. This controlling investor boosted his share percentage to 52.65% by purchasing shares through PT Shinhan Sekuritas Indonesia. ULTJ's shares are involved in beverage production.

Other dominant shareholders appeared to increase their shareholdings. Through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia, PT Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk acquired 15.75 million shares of mineral mining issuer PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR), holding an overall 84.19% stake.

Then, through PT CGS International Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Pangan Sejahtera Investama purchased 1.09 million shares of PT FKS Food Sejahtera Tbk (AISA), a food manufacturing company, causing its shares to increase marginally to 58.32%.

By purchasing 1.21 million shares through PT OCBC Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Bogamulia Nagadi also expanded its stake in pharmaceutical issuer PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (TSPC).

Foreign investor DB SPORE SES CLT A/C FOR Pangolin Asia Fund-864134001 purchased 5 million shares of PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk (MTDL); the final share buy in this market hints. Its stake in this IT issuer rose to 6.31% following the completion of the deal through BUT Deutsche Bank AG.

However, PT MNC Asia Holding Tbk achieved the biggest share decrease this time around when it sold 240.05 million shares of its real estate business, PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG). MNC Asia's share percentage was lowered to 8.44% through the sale of shares through PT RHB Sekuritas Indonesia and three additional securities.

Then, through PT CGS International Sekuritas Indonesia, CGS International Securities Singapore Pte Ltd sold roughly 66 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals tbk (BRMS). Its stake in the mineral mining business dropped to 5.46%.

Shares were also sold by two additional controllers. PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala sold 2.76 million shares of financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), while PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk released 4.72 million shares of insurance business PT Malacca Trust Wuwungan Insurance Tbk (MTWI). Sinar Mas Cakrawala's stake in SMMA was 51.63%, while Batavia Prosperindo's stake in MTWI was at 85.09%.

Lastly, with the remaining shares of about 9.57%, PT Nusantara Makmur Lestari finally released 870,000 shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), a company that produces palm oil. (KD)
